Know youre store's coupon policy. Every store has it's own coupon policy and most are available online. You would actually be suprised at how many store employees don't know thier on policies.
You don't want to get to the checkout lane and have the cashier tell you that they can't accept your coupon because it doesn't match thier policy. I like to print the policy and keep it in my coupon binder as a quick reference in case the cashier disagrees with me. If there is a problem I simply pull out the policy and show it to the cashier.
